Prust thinks Kreider ran Price “accidentally on purpose”

The Habs aren’t happy with Chris Kreider, who may have injured Carey Price in game one after he barreled into him on a breakaway. Brandon Prust thinks his former teammate did it on purpose:

“We’re in the NHL. He should know how to fall. We will call it accidentally on purpose”

Okay, Brandon.

This play is going to fall under the guidance of everyone’s personal team bias. I as a Rangers fan don’t think Kreider did it on purpose. But for the Habs fans out there, I’ll leave it at this:

Why would Kreider pass up a breakaway opportunity to run over Price on purpose? At the time, the score was close. Unlike Prust, Kreider is actually good at scoring. So I can see why maybe a player who has little to no chance of scoring may decide his best course of action is to trip over his own feet like a baby giraffe learning to walk. Prust should know a thing or two about that.

Kreider though? I’m sure he’s more interested in doing this:
