In what is likely to be the only bit of good news for the Rangers today, Dominic Moore has re-signed with the club. Moore originally was seeking three years, but settled for two and $3M total to stay with New York. Unfortunately for Moore, he will have to carry the possession piano that is Tanner Glass on his back for the next two years. Sorry for that Dom, but I’m glad you’re back.
Retaining Moore was pretty critical for the Rangers. But I question how effective he can be centering a line of Glass and Dan Carcillo for a full season. The Rangers had one of the best fourth lines in the NHL last season, they most certainly do not anymore.
